Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our Whitehills’ family. We hope this will be the start of a long and successful partnership with your child’s learning journey.
Usually, there would be opportunities for you and your child to meet us before their start in September to ensure a smooth transition into school. Unfortunately, as things stand, this looks unlikely.
Because we cannot host a meeting with you, we are sending lots of information to you, which you should have received in May. You may have questions arising around the start of school and we will answer these via email as best we can. This is an ever-changing situation and therefore, we will try to keep you as informed as possible. Our teachers, Miss Neary and Mrs Amos, are happy to answer any queries you may have via email:
The teachers will be calling you in June to introduce themselves to you and for you to have a conversation about your child. At this point, we may know more about what school will look like for your child in September and possibly be able to answer more of your questions.
Currently, we think your child will be starting part-time in September, however, we are awaiting further guidance from the government.
We know this is not ideal and like you, we have many unanswered questions during this challenging time. Your child’s start to school will be the best we can make it and we are really looking forward to meeting you all.
