The Wellbeing and EHA Support Officer will provide support to the Family Support Worker, and help pupils to overcome challenges to learning and personal development.

Whitehills Primary School are seeking to employ a Wellbeing and EHA Support Officer who is passionate about working with children and families; has excellent communication skills and demonstrates a calm and nurturing manner.

This role involves delivering a high-quality support service in terms of improvement of attendance through the development of good practice relating to attendance management, safeguarding in education and casework with individual pupils and their families.

The successful candidate will also offer early intervention to parents and pupils to address barriers to learning, as well as offering a range of intervention strategies to support students to achieve.  They will also support the Family Support Worker with their caseload of families and pupils receiving support.

An understanding of SEMH and Early Help Assessment, and the application process for external agencies is essential.

The hours of work will be 08:30 – 16:00 Tuesday to Friday, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break

Closing date for the receipt of applications is noon on Wednesday 3rd January 2024, and interviews will be held on Wednesday 10th January 2024.  Start date will be as soon as possible.
